Miracle Monday
Jul 07, 2025For the past four years, every Monday morning, before diving into our week, my wife, Anniston, and I have walked four miles together. It’s our sacred time to connect, share our thoughts, and support one another. We cherish it deeply.
At some point on every walk, one of us inevitably asks the other:
“What are you creating this week?”
We each answer in turn, declaring something we want to do, experience, or call in during the week ahead. There’s one rule: we must be clear, specific, and name when this little miracle will arrive.
There’s incredible power in speaking a desire out loud — especially to someone who will hold you accountable. I could dive into the science behind it, but I’d rather you finish reading this email.
Over time, what began as a simple game has evolved into one of our most effective strategies for manifesting miracles.
One of my favorite examples: early on, before I ever stepped onto a stage as a professional keynote speaker, Anniston asked me what I wanted to create that week. Without thinking, I declared: “I want to be booked as a paid keynote speaker — by Friday at 5 PM ET.” Anniston smiled widely and said, “Yes, yes, you are.”
I didn’t update my website, hire an agent, or pitch myself. But on Thursday evening, I got a text from an acquaintance asking if I’d meet a friend who needed a speaker for an event. I was sitting on the couch with one of my kids when that message came through — tears streamed down my face as I typed back, “Yes!”
By Friday, I was booked. Within ten days, I booked two additional keynotes, bringing the total to three. Since then, I’ve traveled the world, delivering over forty keynotes last year alone.
When we speak our intentions, we do something powerful. It’s like planting a flag in the ground — claiming what we want as law. Then, we release the how and stay curious about how it will unfold. Sometimes the miracle drops in without extra effort. Other times, we get a nudge — and it’s up to us to act on it.
So here’s my invitation: pause for a moment. Think of something small you’d like to create this week. Name it. Be specific. Give it a date and time. Then release it — and stay open.
And remember: have fun. Life is meant to be fun.
Every Monday, I’ll drop into your inbox with a Miracle Monday message — to remind you that you are a miracle, capable of creating them every single day.
With love,
Rudi
