When the Energy Spikes, Old Fears Surface
Feb 23, 2026I’m going to take a wild guess that, at some point last week, you felt it.
Heightened emotion.
Restless sleep.
Random aches and pains.
Maybe a wave of anxiety or old fears you thought you’d already handled.
If that was you, please know—you were not alone.
I bring the conversation of energy into business, and I support my clients in managing both their individual and collective energy. When they do, something powerful happens: revenue grows, friction drops, and results come with more ease.
I often liken it to driving on a straight, wide, freshly paved road. No potholes, no sharp turns, no surprise speed bumps.
You can move faster.
With less effort.
With far more confidence.
That’s what becomes possible when you build awareness around your own energy (and the energy of your team or business).
Last week, though, the “road” got bumpy.
The Schumann Resonance—often described as the Earth’s natural electromagnetic heartbeat—was spiking in unusually intense and sustained ways. The Earth’s baseline frequency is around 7.83 Hz, and we were seeing big, relentless surges well beyond that (over 100 Hz!!).
Why does this matter?
Because when the environment is turbulent, many people feel it—emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Old patterns get triggered.
Limiting beliefs flare up.
Emotional wounds get exposed.
For some, that showed up in relationships.
For others, in money.
For others, in business and leadership.
Your work is not to judge yourself for what came up.
Your work is to notice it—and understand that these emotional spikes are often reminders of what still wants healing.
Here’s how it played out for me:
On Thursday and Friday, I had a surge of emotion around money.
More specifically: a fear of lack.
I’m currently building several projects that require investment. Out of nowhere, I found myself worrying about finances in a way that felt bigger than the facts.
Because I do this work, I didn’t just push it down.
I got curious.
I named the emotion: anxiety around money.
Then I went to Anniston and talked it through.
Within minutes, we could see what was really happening:
I wasn’t reacting to my current reality.
I was reacting to an old story.
A younger version of me who didn’t feel safe, supported, or provided for had stepped into the driver’s seat.
Once I saw that, I could ask better questions:
- “Is this fear true based on what’s happening right now?”
- “Am I reacting to the present—or to the past?”
- “What is actually real in this moment?”
Within about thirty minutes, the emotional charge was gone.
Not because I shoved it away, but because I was willing to see it clearly.
Most people stay stuck in these heightened emotional states without ever asking where they come from. When you slow down and approach them with awareness, the trigger turns into what it really is:
A gift.
The gift for me was this realization:
I’m in a season of building my business and expanding my capacity for greater revenue—and an old fear of lack was simply showing me where my nervous system hadn’t fully caught up to my new reality.
Once I identified it, I could release it.
So I’ll leave you with this:
What emotions or fears came up for you last week?
And are you ready to see them not as proof that something is wrong with you…
…but as invitations to finally let them go?
